Opposing Repression in the Horn of Africa in the "War on Terror"

Just Foreign Policy worked to hold the Bush Administration accountable for its support for human rights abuses in Ethiopia and its support for the Ethiopian invasion of Somalia. As a result of our efforts and the efforts of our partners, the Ethiopian government released political prisoners and withdrew its troops from Somalia, and the U.S. now supports a coalition government in Somalia that includes leaders that the U.S. had intervened to overthrow.
