Bill Berkeley
Bill Berkeley teaches human rights reporting at
Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. He is a former editorial
writer for The New York Times and, previously, a correspondent in
Africa for The Atlantic Monthly. He is the author of "The Graves Are
Not Yet Full," a book about genocide in Africa. He is currently at
work on a book about the Iran hostage Crisis of 1979-1981, focusing on
the political evolution of the surviving Iranian hostage-takers.
