Hadi Esfahani Ph.D
Hadi Esfahani is a professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the President of the Middle East Economic Association and Director of the Global Studies Initiative. He worked as an Economist at the Policy Research Department at the World Bank from 1994 to 1995.
Dr. Esfahani researches theoretical and empirical issues in the political economy of development, as well as the role of country institutions in the formation and reform of fiscal, trade, and regulatory policies.
