Michael McCally, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. McCally is a public health physician and most recently a Professor and the Vice Chairman of the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where he is Co-Director of the Center for Children's Health and the Environment. He holds a BA in English Literature from Princeton University, an M.D. from Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in Physiology from Ohio State University. He has served as president of the board of directors of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) and was Treasurer of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War when it won the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize. Dr McCally has two decades experience in security issues and has written extensively on nuclear and environmental topics.
