SUBSCRIBING TO JUST FOREIGN POLICY PODCASTS

If you already have podcasting software and know how to pick up a feed, you can get the Just Foreign Policy feed at:

http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/podcasts/jfp_podcast_rss.xml

This link goes directly to the XML file. If you click on it directly in your web browser, all it will do is show you the raw XML code. In order to actually subscribe, you will need to choose the software you want to use to receive our podcasts. Once you have software you can follow our step-by-step subscription instructions linked below.

[If you are just looking to download audio files directly, go here.]

There are many programs that receive and manage podcasts, but a few of the most popular are:

Juice (formerly iPodder Lemon) is free software and is capable of receiving our feeds.
Once you have downloaded and installed the software, subscription instructions can be found here.

iTunes is Apple's MP3 player and music library program; it integrates well with the iPod.
Once you have downloaded and installed the software, subscription instructions can be found here.

What is Podcasting?

"Podcasting" is a way to have JFP audio and video files automatically downloaded to your computer or portable audio device. This is quite a convenience if you have a portable MP3 player or if you have a slow connection. Once you have things set up, you will always have access to the most recent releases, as MP3 audio files or MPEG-4 video files, ready for listening or watching.
