Getting our podcasts using JUICE

If you want to get podcasts using Juice (formerly called 'iPodder'), follow the steps below.

  1. Download and install Juice.
  2. Right-click (control-click on a Mac) on the JFP feed here and select “Copy Link Location” or “Copy Shortcut”.
  3. Open Juice, and go to Tools > Add a Feed.
  4. Paste (by pressing control-V on Windows or command-V on a Mac) the feed URL into the URL text box, and press Save.
  5. Click the “Check for new podcasts” button, which looks like a green square with two arrows pointing at each other, in the program's toolbar to fetch the list of episodes and start downloading the most recent episode.
  6. The most recent episodes will then begin downloading. When complete, the blue “downloading” icon will be replaced with the green arrow indicating the download is complete.
  7. And you're done. You can configure Juice to automatically check for and download new shows by enabling and configuring the scheduler. Select "Scheduler" from the "Tools" menu, and fill in the resulting options pane. If you want to see or change where the files are actually located on your hard drive, in Juice, go to Files > Preferences > General.
