Our Impact
We educate elected officials to bring daylight and accountability to foreign policy issues that are too-often managed behind closed doors by unelected bureaucrats in D.C..
In the last 18 years we have played a key educational role in hundreds of foreign policy legislative actions, including historic recorded votes in the House and Senate. We work to oppose:
- Unjust and unconstitutional U.S. wars of choice
- The flow of billions of dollars in American-made weapons into tragic and unwinnable foreign conflicts
- Indiscriminate U.S. economic sanctions that harm millions of innocent civilians
- U.S. support for abusive regimes abroad, and the selective application of human rights norms based on elites’ perceived geopolitical interests.
How we work:
Just Foreign Policy is a nonpartisan and transpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization — we believe that uniting people across the political spectrum is critical to building the momentum needed for meaningful and lasting change.
✓ We support efforts by elected officials, policymakers, and staffers who are seeking change.
✓ We supply strategies most likely to generate pressure for reform.
✓ We provide nuanced insights into complicated foreign policy issues as well as sharing lessons from decades of hard-won experience.
✓ We amplify the voices of both victims of U.S. policy abroad as well as the policymakers’ American constituents here at home.
Our educational and advocacy mission is to reducing the harm caused — whether knowingly or inadvertently — by U.S. foreign policy worldwide.
Our Team
Our team draws on our expertise from government, media, and grassroots organizing to shape policy discussions and ensure policymakers who support harmful policies are aware of the impact of their actions.
Since our founding in 2006, we’ve worked tirelessly to uphold the U.S. Constitution, defend U.S. taxpayers, and alleviate the suffering of countless millions abroad facing hardship due to failed or malicious U.S. foreign policy. As American citizens, we believe our primary responsibility is to focus on the actions taken by our government, in our name, and with our taxpayer money.
